Body Lifts in Naples
In order to be considered good candidates for this cosmetic surgery, patients typically need to follow a healthy diet and exercise regimen and maintain a stable weight, ideally for six months to a year. Patients who have undergone weight loss surgery are not eligible for body lifts until one year after their procedure — a preventative measure our surgeons adhere to for the promotion of patient health.

Upper Body Lifts
Patients who are concerned with the appearance of their breasts, chest and mid-back area can opt for an upper body lift. During the procedure, the plastic surgeon creates an incision across the midsection of the back and gently extract excess skin and fat. The surgeon meticulously sculpts the upper torso area to narrow the waistline and smooth the appearance of the back. He may also a perform breast lift — a breast enhancement procedure that raises sagging breasts to a more youthful-looking position, depending upon the patient’s desires.
Lower Body Lifts
Lower body lift surgery is one of the most requested procedures made by new mothers to treat the physical tolls that pregnancy can place on the body. This surgery involves sculpting the appearance of the thighs, stomach, buttocks and hips to achieve slimmer, tighter figures. At Naples Plastic Surgery, the procedure begins with an incision along the outer thigh area and buttocks, as well as an incision across the lower section of the abdomen. Then, the surgeon carefully tightens the lower body area by removing excess tissue and suctioning out fat, if needed.
Total Body Lifts
A total body lift is a combination of both lower and upper body lifts, as well as any other body contouring procedures a patient may request, such as an arm lift or breast lift. Dr. Baccaro, Dr. Walsh, and Dr. Bonett typically perform total body lifting surgery in multiple procedures at their practice in order to minimize the risk of complications.
Recovering from Body Lift Surgery
Unlike most plastic surgery procedures, a body lift requires that patients be admitted to the hospital for two to three nights following the procedure. Body lift is an invasive surgical procedure, so there are risks for complications. After the procedure, Dr. Baccaro, Dr. Walsh, or Dr. Bonett will carefully outline a list of instructions in order to encourage healthy recovery periods and minimize any risks.
Once patients are released from the hospital, patients should rest for four to six weeks before returning to normal daily activities. Our surgeons provide patients with compression garments and dressings until most of the swelling subsides, typically within six weeks.

Dr Gardner is the BEST!
I have been a patient of Dr. Gardners for many years. His ability to relate to his patients is a very calming and caring characteristic. He answers questions with patience and above all, no pressure. The surgeries that I have had, fat augmentation and a neck/chin lift have given me a renewed and fresh look without appearing as if it’s not a totally natural look. Dr. Gardner is simply masterful and a kind soul. He takes great pride in his work and has the experience and expertise to take initiative to achieve the best outcome for patients beyond expectation, often having to adapt to unexpected obstacles from patient history. Experiencing significant pain I went to see Dr. Gardner as a repeat patient, expecting a routine implant revision due to a failure of a fifteen year old reduction procedure. Instead, Dr. Gardner had to remove a significant growth and essentially rebuild the sins of the past into results that realistically were better than had ever presented in my youth, all with minimal incisions and recovery. This is the doctor you seek for exceptional cases and care – you are worth it. He is worthy. Special appreciation to his staff, all of whom genuinely take an interest and embody the values Dr. Gardner brings to the table.

Beyond helpful and kind
Dr Baccaro and his team went above and beyond for my breast augmentation surgery. From the consultation to every single post op appointment they were beyond helpful and kind.
I had my implants for 10 years and had significant loss in volume and was afraid I needed a lift but Dr Baccaro was able to give me the perfect new pair without a lift and I am beyond happy with the results. Besides that he also fixed my visible scarring that were left behind from the previous surgeon.

Very pleasant to work with
I am very happy with my experience with Naples plastic surgery and will definitely use them again in the future! I had breast implants that were 34 years old and I had them replaced by Dr Walsh. Believe it or not even after all that time one of the implants was still fully intact when he took it out, the other one had begun to show signs of gumminess from age. Everyone from the office staff, to the doctor himself were very pleasant to work with and overall was a great experience here.
