Today, I want to talk to you about breast reduction surgery. This surgery is usually sought out by patients who have shoulder, neck or back pain, or who develop irritation underneath the breasts or, have discomfort when they try to exercise. During breast reduction surgery, I not only decrease the weight of the breasts, but I reshape and lift the breasts in such a way to create a more youthful appearance.

This allows for more comfort when you’re trying to exercise, and to feel more confident when you’re wearing clothing. Breast reduction surgery does in fact improve the quality of life of our patients, and as plastic surgeons, some of our happiest patients are those who have undergone this procedure. They’re very happy and more comfortable with their day to day activities.
