Hi, I’m Dr. Baccaro, and today I wanted to talk to you about fat transfer breast augmentation. So historically, the gold standard for breast augmentation is using implants, and although it is a gold standard, and it is a great way to improve and increase the size of the breast, fat transfer breast augmentation is an option in those patients who may not want implants or may be looking for a slight increase in their size or may have slight asymmetries between the breasts.

So the way it works is you can liposuction fat from different parts of the body where you do not want it and take that fat and transfer it to the breast. You can increase size maybe about half a cup to a cup size, increase the symmetry, and improve the symmetry between the breasts, which may be somewhat asymmetric, and you can really get a nice shape, cleavage lines, outer pole, roundness of the breast, all of those things you may be trying to achieve to get a more aesthetic breast.
